Warm up the cooler months this winter at the Four Seasons The Westcliff Hotel with one or all of their three contemporary fondue feasts starting 1 June – 31 July, 2017, from Thursday – Sunday, 16:00 – 19:00, with fire pits and cosy blankets to keep guests toasty on the sundowner’s deck.
Three unique fondues, created by the team of Chefs include a Classic Cheese (Fontina & Gruyere) – with rosemary and garlic croutons, vegetable crudité, artichoke, broccolini, confit tomato and asparagus at R295.00 per person. Or the Carnivore Fondue (Oxtail Consommé) – Angus beef fillet, veal noche, chicken fillet, portobellini mushrooms, pomme de pont neuf and broccolini with cognac pepper, horseradish and chimichurri dipping sauces at R395.00 per person. The Chinese Fondue, for something really special (Shellfish Fumet) includes farmed seabass, Norwegian salmon, Queen prawns, calamari, Kenyan beans and Shitake mushrooms with Sambal Oelek, Vietnamese and peanut sauce dipping sauces, also at R395.00 per person. Each fondue has been created for a minimum of four guests, ideal to share with friends.
Adding to the above, handcrafted, imported Belgium hot chocolate, also serves four guests, with a unique recipe by our Pastry Chef, will be poured tableside, for an added touch of winter indulgence whilst enjoying the winter views over the magnificent Johannesburg skyline.
