SA Culinary Club in partnership with Michelin Tyre Company South Africa and Goût de France are celebrating Goût de France for the entire month of March and have planned more than 14 culinary Michelin star experiences in the form of “cook & dine”, intimate dinners and champagne brunches inspired and curated by our globally experienced chefs, artists and sommeliers.
Goût France is a French based global initiative in over 150 countries around the world, restaurants and embassies offer over 1500 dinners to celebrate France’s gastronomy by inviting the public to share a “French dinner”. In each participating restaurant, the event pays tribute to a vibrant, open and innovative cuisine, while remaining true to its values of sharing, pleasure and respect for good food and for the earth.
The SA Culinary Club lends itself to creating this unique dining experience by it’s open plan kitchen leading onto the dining area allowing for complete transparency of the so often hidden art that that happens behind closed doors. Enhancing the ambiance and essence of Goût France are the elements of wine and art.

A picture might be worth a thousand words but none can do Michelun trained Chef Wandile's French Toast justice. The croissant was delicately bathed in egg before being friend, and accompanied a strawberry, rhubarb & mascarpone compote, lemon parfait, and a coffee anarula sauce. We have infused our culinary experiences with visual art from the Layziehound and one of SA’s best Sommelier’s, internationally experienced, Khuselo Mputa. Khuselo has worked in London, India, North Island and the Seychelles as a sommelier and under the guidance of Chef Albert Roux and Fred Sirieix. He is also a John platter judge and is everything wine.
