The Mzanzi International Culinary Festival 2015 focuses on uniting our African nation through food. As leading International female chefs from across the continent descend upon South Africa during Africa Month, they stand together celebrating African food and culture.
This skilled brigade of 7 chefs will be showcasing their skills in Johannesburg starting Saturday, May 23, through to May 24, 2015 at Tintswalo, Waterfall Estate, Midrand.
The MiCF will combine the many Tastes of Africa, including a plethora of delicacies from Limpopo, Tshwana cuisine and Afro-Asian Kwa-Zulu Natal culinary arteries.
MiCF believes that we can tap into unique African flavours, enhance well-known local dishes with interesting and indigenous ingredients that are available to the market. Meet the local producers and taste their produce cooked by the various restaurants that will give tastings and sell dishes from various regions of Africa. Children will see people who produce their food while learning how to eat healthy at the “kiddies’ corner”
Don’t miss out on this unique blend of cultures, tastes and sensations from the leading female chefs in Africa.
