#MJHistoryShow is an epic show in its own right that encaptures the magic and energy of Michael Jackson.
Tribute acts can be hit and miss because If they can’t do the original artist justice they’re just a karaoke act, but if they just sound like the original artist, one could have stayed at home listening to their CDs. It’s an illusion that the audience buys into but they are entitled to expect to be wowed when buying tickets.
Dantonio brings a flawless performance to Emperors Palace with his show. He’s got the moves, he’s got the pitch, and he invests so much of himself into each performance that the audience can feel his enthusiasm.
The attention to detail is painstakingly true to MJ’s quest for perfection. I’m not going to pretend that I was a Michael Jackson fan (in that I didn’t pay too much attention to details) but I was impressed by how realistic Dantanio was. I can’t even fault the costumes because they were totally on point.
Even though it is set on a stage smaller than Michael Jackson’s, the show creates the illusion of being larger than life. One can’t help but marvel at the entire performance.
Definitely a show that you want to see at least once – and possibly twice or thrice!
