La Bri, the enchanting historic boutique winery on the outskirts of Franschhoek, has released the 2014 vintage of their popular fruit-driven Chardonnay and the 2013 vintage of their Affinity Bordeaux-style red blend. All the La Bri wines are beautifully and uniquely packaged with eye-catching labels featuring Cape flowers and herbs, and bold matching capsules. Each of the wines is linked to a specific flower that symbolises the characteristics of the respective wine.

Tasting Notes: It has a beautiful peachy melon nose, with hints of buttery toast. Fresh and zippy on entry, the nose follows through onto the palate, complemented by crisp green apple acidity and well-integrated oak, with lovely hints of pine nuts on the finish and a lingering creamy aftertaste”.

Tasting Notes: A beautiful ink black, dark plum colour. An exceptionally complex wine with smoky spice, cherry tobacco and hints of cedar oak on the nose. A rich full palate with firm tannins and lingering black fruit juiciness.
