Express convenience at the picturesque Grosvenor Gardens
If you have reason to visit Pretoria, also known as the “Jacaranda City”, and you are looking for an express destination that offers self-catering, or short-term and long-term accommodation, then you need to consider Faircity Grosvenor Gardens.
Faircity Grosvenor Gardens is accessible to everything. It’s an express hotel that is literally walking or driving distance from everything. If you’re going to the Union Buildings, Loftus Versveld, Church Square, Paul Kruger’s statue, or need to be near any of the hospitals, embassies, or universities, Faircity Grosvenor Gardens will feel like a home away from home.
It’s self-catering but very reasonable and staff are very friendly – in fact, they’re so accommodating, they not only gave us one of their best rooms, but because it didn’t have a patio they quickly moved us into another room. Both rooms were clean, bright and spacious. They also included a fully equipped kitchen.
This is not a destination hotel where you can spend your days languishing in leisure, but best suited for the busy traveler who has things to do in the city. The rooms are very practical and functional. The grounds are beautifully gardened but small and limited if you are looking for privacy. In fact, it is quite a picturesque hotel with beautiful landscaping and interesting garden features.
They don’t offer catering facilities, as they are self-catering, but you can order a delivery from any of the many restaurants nearby. They do deliver breakfast to your room which can order when you check-in. We ordered bacon, eggs, which came with chicken sausages You could also fruit, muesli, croissants, and juice.
Faircity Grosvenor Gardens is an express hotel and it serve its purpose beautifully.
