Grande Provence Chardonnay is an expression of Franschhoek elegance

Savour the first touches of autumn with a glass of elegant, full-bodied Grande Provence Chardonnay 2014.

Crafted from sun-kissed grapes shaped by long, slow ripening and meticulous vineyard management, the wine brims with concentrated fruit flavours and has a soft, balanced mouthfeel. Superb wood integration from maturing for 11 months in a combination of first (60%) and second (40%) fill French oak barrels lends a luxurious lingering finish.

“Our 2014 vintage reveals citrus, almonds and peachy notes on the nose. All these elements transfer well onto the palate. It is perfect to enjoy now but can benefit from further ageing in ideal cellaring conditions for two to three years from vintage,” says Winemaker Karl Lambour, who enjoys the wine most with smoked chicken and creamy seafood dishes.

The Grande Provence Chardonnay 2014 sells for R150 at the Grande Provence Tasting Room, and can be found at leading wine shops and fine dining restaurants. For added convenience, this wine can be purchased online from www.grandeprovence.co.za. Purchases of 12 bottles or more qualify for free delivery anywhere in South Africa.
