Powerful digital storytellers Nedbank Digital Edge Live 2015

Exciting new speakers have joined a powerful line-up of leading digital storytellers at this year’s Nedbank Digital Edge Live 2015 brought to you by NATIVE VML in collaboration with 360 Degrees.

Joining international headline speaker Spike Lee are Khaya Dlanga (Coca-Cola), Pepe Marais (Joe Public), Fran Luckin (Quirk SA), Luvuyo Mandela (Tyathumzi Advisory), Mellissa Attree (Ogilvy & Mather), Nick Terry (TMarc) and Glenn Gillis (Sea Monster Entertainment).

Our latest additions to the line-up hail from South Africa’s most recognisable brands and agencies. There’s no doubt they will share unique insights into how to market to diverse audiences in the digital age.

Among the speakers, Khaya Dlanga is the Senior Communications Manager for Content Excellence and Digital at Coca-Cola. He is an author and blogger and is also one of the most influential individuals in South African Media. Besides the more than 30 local and international awards he’s received in advertising, Khaya’s colourful career has included interviews with President Paul Kagame, Prime Minister David Cameron and President Barack Obama for YouTube Worldview on the request of Google. Most recently, Khaya organised the Peace Bus initiative which spoke out against Xenophobia and provided supplies for displaced people.

Also in the line-up is Luvuyo Mandela – Lead Advisor; Tyathumzi Advisory. Luvuyo is a Social Entrepreneur passionate about Youth Development and Empowerment. He believes in the power of collective effort and unlocking synergies through a variety of mediums including intimate engagement platforms. His work has been work acknowledged by Brand South Africa; One young World; Nelson Mandela Foundation and Project Knapsack Inc. He believes his role is to infect young people with a social entrepreneurial ethos of being a continuous contributor and effecting sustainable social impact.
