Win 1 of 5 copies of Curry Me Home by Yudhika Sujanani, plus a range of her spices @ChefYudhika @Radio2Day

When celebrity chef and author Yudhika Sujanani discovered that people were using her recipes with other people’s spices she immediately created her own spice range called ‘Curry Me Home’ to complement her book. When JoziStyle interviewed the dynamic Yudika on Radio Today she generously offered to give five lucky listeners (or our blog readers!) a copy of her book and a range of her spices!

To win a set for yourself, simply tell us what is your favourite spice and how you enjoy using it in a recipe.

It’s a spicy gift for yourself, or a delicious Christmas gift for any foodie!

Cinnamon. It adds a beautiful hint of deliciousness to something ordinary like cake or a cup of coffee or hot chocolate or over french toast with golden syrup.

Sage – I love the earthy aroma and the dusty shade of green. Delicious! I’m also mad about Yudhika Sujanani so getting a copy of her book and spices would be a treat!

Ooooh! I would love, love, love to win this prize because I love cooking. My favourite spice of all time is nutmeg- I use it in both sweet & savoury foods because it is so versatile and adds an aromatic fragrance & comforting warmth to all dishes. I also love paprika, freshly ground black pepper and vanilla. The list goes on … 🙂

I like tumeric very much for adding colour and flavour to my dishes especially babooties, rices and curries. I like any herbs and spices that make a dish look nice and taste good too!

Garlic! Lots of it! I find I can’t taste it when I use it, but I miss it if I don’t. Does that make sense? I also use lots of parsley for obvious reasons!

Cinnamon and nutmeg are two essentials I need all the time. I have a spice rack riddled with goodies but those are always in the front!

I am entering if I can because I love to cook but am scared to use spices because I don’t know how but would like to learn about using them properly if Yudhika can show me how in her cook books so I can get better at it I don’t use much spice but I like the Rajah currie spices and also cinamon or vanilla in sweet desserts.

I can’t pick just one spice because they are all equally indispensable- I love cumin, coriander, cardamom, black pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice, cloves … the list just grows and grows.
