Yoga, with its roots in ancient Indian practices has great physical and mental benefits for the body. It tones, detoxes and strengthens muscles in a manner that improves flexibility and blood circulation, which in turn, fine-tunes mental awareness, and thus induces a state of relaxation and calm.

Mandy Wu, the yoga instructor will be sharing Vinyasa yoga, as well as Yin Yoga, guided meditation and pranayama (breathing technique). With a background in Psychology Mandy’s love for yoga grew out of a keen interest in alternative therapies over a decade ago; she now practises and teaches primarily Vinyasa Flow in Cape Town. She firmly believes that yoga is a tool that gives insight into the mind-body relationship empowering us through movement to find freedom both on and off the mat.

Once we can master our inner space with intention we can begin to move, create and live mindfully in the external reality.
