The Shakshuka king set to open a fiery new dining experience in a hot new Joburg precinct.
Barely a year since its revival at stylish new Sandton landmark, the Mint Hotel 84 on Katherine, Shakshuka king Pablo has a bold new offspring with the opening of Pablo People Fire Kitchen.
Marking a further exploration into fire cooking which has become a hallmark of Pablo style cuisine, Pablo People boast a menu drawing inspiration from across the continent, from South African inspired comfort food to North African Berber infusions, its signature Mozambican peri peri chicken and the Pablo People take on Seven Colours.
Located in the Freeway Centre, in Wynberg, Joburg, with neighbours including an art gallery, barbershop, carwash and the Mint Hotel’s new budget-friendly Mint Express Sandton View, Pablo People takes dining and entertaining up a notch.
The expansive new premises with its lounge-style atmosphere and extensive bar are set to become a hot new star on the Joburg dining and entertainment scene.
“With an amazing weekend entertainment lineup, gorgeous view of the Sandton skyline, secure parking and a beautiful pathway that leads to the Mint Express Hotel Sandton View, Pablo People has all the amenities you’d ever need to have a great night or weekend out,” said owner Louis Roux.
The Pablo People’s kitchen is its fiery heart, where three wood-burning ovens are harnessed to prepare timber coals for the restaurant’s custom grills, complemented by its rotisserie and Souvla grills. The extensive menu pan-African includes appetizers, chimmi bone marrow, lamb riblets, chicken wings with spiced jalapeno peri-peri, cauliflower steaks, grilled vegetables, meat selection tasting boards and cocktails to match completed with an array of wood-fired pizzas and signature grilled steaks.
Pablo People is open from Wednesday and Thursday 7am to 9pm and Friday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm.
