NUTRIBULLET PLEDGES R1000 PER BOUNDARY TOWARDS JP DUMINY’S JP21 PROJECT

Nutribullet is proud to announce that they have concluded a pledge agreement with cricketing superstar, JP Duminy.

NutriBullet CEO, SA-born-and-raised Colin Sapire, now based in California, expressed a keen interest in giving back to his homeland, ideally via a project for positive upliftment activities. Enter, JP Duminy and the JP21 Project. JP is internationally recognised as one of the most exciting all-rounders in the game of cricket having represented and captained South Africa in all formats of the game as well as the Delhi Daredevils in the fast and furious IPL T20 tournament.

The JP21 Project was started in 2014, its long term objectives being to promote a positive and healthy lifestyle while simultaneously focussing on core values of respect, kindness, transparency and integrity; allowing learners to have fun and develop their character all while enjoying the game of cricket.

This will be achieved by:
·       Empowering teachers (coaching coaches, umpires and scorers)
·       Revitalising cricket facilities in schools
·       Establishing recognized and formal leagues
·       Providing schools with equipment
·       Providing opportunities for social interaction with learners using external service providers
·       Building partnerships with various stakeholders
·       Establishing a fundraising program
·       Establishing a holiday program
·       Providing winter nets

In order to contribute towards the funds required to support this foundation, NutriBullet has committed R1 000 for every boundary JP scores between now and July 2016 across all formats of the game. That could be as many as 40 innings, and the expectation is that this will yield at least R150 000 for the Project.

True to form, JP made a fabulous start to the tour of India with his well-paced Man of the Match innings of 68 in the first T20 match which included 1 four and 7 sixes, while his undefeated innings in the second match steered his side home to a series clinching victory. This encouraging start has resulted in immediate benefit for the JP21 Project with the promise of much more excitement and revenue to flow for this estimable cause.
