This year, plan a short trip to the beautiful De Hoek Country Hotel in the Magaliesberg and enjoy a delicious Easter luncheon with friends and family. This beautiful destination is the ideal country breakaway for a special day and is tucked away amidst ancient trees, along a meandering stream – an idyllic setting for a celebration.

The menu consists of a choice of dishes:

OXTAIL SOUP -Braised oxtail soup, morels, shimeji, leek cream
RISOTTO- Tomato risotto, petit herb salad, brown butter vinaigrette
SCALLOP & CALAMARI- Seared scallop, grilled calamari, black pudding, bacon chip, sweet corn sauce
SALAD- Goat cheese bruschetta, mixed greens & herbs, grain mustard vinaigrette

KINGKLIP- Pan-fried kingklip herb mie de pain, sautéed beans, peas, potato gratin, parsley sauce
BEEF FILLET- Roast beef fillet, truffle puff pastry crust, spinach, mushrooms, roasted vegetables, pinotage sauce
CASSOULET- Slow cooked duck legs, saucisson, lentils, white beans, new potatoes
VEAL- Veal loin roast, spaetzli, butternut, Madagascar pepper sauce
GNOCCHI- Handmade potato gnocchi, medley of mushrooms, mushroom consommé

Monday 6 April 2015 (Family Day) – Luncheon in the Bistro and Gardens- children over 12 are welcome
R 345.00 pp for a 4 course meal, excluding drinks, children will pay on consumption
