Clarks Reinvents Archive Styles for a Contemporary and Suitably Stylish Spring Summer Collection

Clarks’ spring summer 2015 collection presents timeless iconic styles with a contemporary twist as the brand takes inspiration from both the runway and its unique archives. Touching on spring summer 2015 trends such as sports luxe, masculine tailoring and minimalist, the latest designs are sophisticated with a considered update. Clean lines and dusty soft leathers deliver understated elegance, while strong bold colours, texturised fabrics and metallic finishes bring a breath of fresh air to unmistakable seasonal favourites.

This season flats are feminine in pastel shades, spanning a range of pretty ballerina pumps, sophisticated loafers and statement brogues. Highlights include Ennis Weave, made of beautiful soft luxurious leather with intricate detailing on the toe – worn with the backup or down for a relaxed summer look. The cut-out sandal returns in a timeless navy colourway, updated in high shine leather for spring summer 15 in the form of Hotel Bustle. Meanwhile Festival Glee combines craftsmanship with style to provide the ultimate feminine comfort fix – with an elegant t-bar and delicate strap; available in pastel lemon.

Drawing inspiration from the sports luxe trend, the spring summer collection of heels breaks free from traditional silhouettes. Wedged heels are combined with cut-out designs, whilst the flatform makes its return this year, providing a key style for the season. Rosalie Pose’s clean white metallic straps offer a modern aesthetic, while Perez Glitter is a deliberately chunky alternative to a summer sandal.

The block heel is a continuing trend with Crumble Berry providing a stylish alternative to a workwear essential – combining soft buttery leathers, neutral tones and a delicate t-bar strap, for a considered feminine finish. Ski Tropical offers a contemporary update with bold metallic straps and patterned heel, however for those looking for a classic alternative the Susie Deva, a seasonal favourite, returns again to provide an elegant take on a block heel sandal, in tan and silver.

Summer sandals go back to basics with statement straps and chunky soles. The most eye-catching is Netrix Rose, an archive-inspired modern classic in the making – its bold metallic finish is complemented by chunky buckles and a saw tooth sole, adding a true urban edge. The Zena Mae however, with its twist of colour, is the perfect poolside partner whilst the Renee Ice exuberates effortless summer style with luxurious gold metallic leather.

Shoemakers since 1825, Clarks presents a spring summer range that perfectly fuses decades of craftsmanship and effortless British style with contemporary detailing. Design and detail fuse together to form a carefully curated collection of considered pieces with an elegant twist, complete in fresh summery shades.
